We are currently on ground and have started development in two locations, Madeira in Portugal and in Istria in Croatia. We are scouting and working on the next 3 locations.
Each Citadel Garden village is shaped by its land, its people, and its purpose. Our aim is to have locations that are highly attractive and internationally easy to get to.

In Madeira, we’ve teamed up with a group of families already living on the island. Their initiative is creating a vibrant, family-focused community.

Our story
Citadel Garden was founded by Rahim Taghizadegan, an economist and physicist with a long-standing interest in building parallel structures to existing systems.
Instead of waiting for institutions to adapt, the goal became to quietly build something better, starting with land, homes, and real ownership.
From these early foundations, Citadel Garden is growing as a network of places where ownership, family life, and independent living can thrive.
